I thought you might enjoy taking some tours of the cathedral. Go ahead and get lost in the tours. Make sure you look at the Thomas A Becket section of the first website listed, and make sure you look around on the second website. The second website has some beautiful pictures of the cathedral.

Everything about the Canterbury Cathedral is very detailed and intricate! The Cathedral is beautiful!!! The place where Thomas was killed seems too pretty and important to be a place for murder. I cannot believe that someone could misunderstand someone to the point where they would go kill a man who was not ment to die.
I thought that just about everything in and on the cathedral was very nice and well-crafted. For how old it is, it still looks to be in great condition and the spot where Thomas was killed was a lot different than what I pictured in my mind.
The detail on the Canterbury cathedral was amazing. I was amazed that most of the detail hasn't lessened sense it's so old. The stain glass was very beautiful. It is very easy to tell that a lot of work went into the Cathedral.

The Canterbury Cathedral is breath taking. The details put into the make-up of the building is outstanding.It seems a lot of hard work was put into building it and its still beautiful even though so many years have passed. I found the place where Thomas was killed a little creepy.
I noticed that the Canterbury Cathedral was very detailed and intricate; every part of the building was extravagant and ellagant. Everything seems to have been decorated as much as possible to make the buildings stand out.
After looking at the pictures of the cathedral, I must say that it is quite a sight. I find the Gothic architecture of that time period to be very captivating and amazing. The pictures of the nave, windows, columns, and the main gate to be especially interesting. If I ever found myself in England, I would be sure to try and visit the cathedral.
Canterbury Tail is very detailed with everythin that is told about the Canterbury Tales.The place where he was killed was more then a place where he killed at. But it was a very important place.
The Cathedral looks like an amazing place. It looks very large and pretty. Even the gate leading into the Cathedral looked very unique and detailed from the places we are used to seeing today.

Everything in the chapels and the cathedral was crafted in a gothis style and is very well kept. The different crypts were interesting because none of them looked the same. Thomas' locations of his martyrdom was very simple but pretty. It is sad to think that such an innocent man would so willingly die.
It is incredible how well kept everything is in the Cathedral despite how old it is. The thin nature of the halls is very unique. It is amazing how nice the architecture of the Cathedral is. The talent to create such a nice place is impressive.

I thought that the coolest thing I saw on the tour was the prayer table. Even though this took away from the antique feel of the building, I still thought it was interesting. The modernization of the church did bother me somewhat because I feel that it should have been left the way it was for historical purposes not, updated. The amount of time that artist spend on the art work in the Cathedrals is fantastic. I would have loved to have been back in the olden day to go to a church like that. How did a bunch of guys with hammers and bricks build it so good? the place whare Thomas was killed doesn't look like a place whare someone died. The gross part of the virtual tour is that in The Chapel of Saints and Martyrs, part of thomas's skull was kept in a box! That's just wrong! Wow, that place looks massive. I think it's cool that even though it was built so long ago, that it has so much detail on it. This is Craig Leugers and the Cantebury Cathedral is huge. I'm amazed that this place could fit in all those monks and pilgrims. The room where Thomas was killed seems pretty fittin, the room has those three swords that hang from the ceiling and it seems very ominous. Also the entire cathedral looks so brilliantly made with great details and style.

It looks like all the other cathedrals we saw when we went to England 2 years ago. It is still impressive. The architecture is even more impressive in person.

The cathedral was very detailed and looked great. its surpirising how old it is and it still looks good. when you said that thomas was murdered i expected a dark ally or something like that, i wouldnt believe someone was murdered where he was.

The Cantebury Cathedral is extremely intricately detailed and contains many interesting features. The architecture and stained glass windows were very interesting to see. Someday, I hope that I would get to visit such a beautiful place.

Over the summer I went to Europe (france and italy) and the churches look amazing. I loved everything about them and how detailed they were. This church is just like that except seeing the real thing is ten times better.
