For this week's blog, you may not do it until after you have had class on Monday. If you miss class on Monday, then do it on Tuesday. I want you to tell me on a scale of 1-10 how engaged were you in the lesson. In other words, how well were you able to pay attention and grasp the information.
Thanks
Mr. Lunn

A 10? Is this all I am suppose to say?
10. haha I thought it was so funny when you took out the toga. You have to be one of my funniest teachers. Definently kept my attention. Also, Julius Caesar is more interesting then i thought it would be, not only because i know a lot from latin, but because it isnt as boring as it has been said to be.
I would say a 7 because I thought you kept it more entertaining by doing the thing with the toga but I thought the play was still hard to understand.
Chelsea Byrnes
A 6 because I like when you talk and I think you are funny and entertaining, but the play is hard to understand and I think learning about the Romans and Julius Ceasar is boring.
I would say about a 7. The toga made it more entertaining and I like when we go over what the story means. Julius Ceasar and the Romans is kinda boring though.
7. The toga idea was interesting to watch. I liked the dialogue from the computer because it is easy to follow along when someone is talking. Yet, it was hard to understand parts of the play. It is hard to follow along with something you don't understand.
I would say 7. It was entertaining how you taught it and I understand when you are explaining it, but I don't understand the play when I am reading it from the book.
I'd give it an 8,because the toga was very entertaining, but hte play was a little bit confusing.
Emily Holifield
ummm an 8! The toga was funny and you kept it entertaining but the play is very hard to understand still and i don't find it all that interesting yet.
It was good. I'd say an 8 just because you were interactive and it got my attention at first. It was more boring when we started the play.
I would give it a 7. Your piece by piece explanations help my comprehension of the play.
I would probably have to say...mmmm..a 5 because you made it more interesting then it really is, but my attention spand doesnt last long and im not really into poetry plays...no offense..
I would say a 6 because you told us about the toga which wasnt so bad, but its not very interesting. I just dont get into plays like that.
Ill give it a 6. The toga demonstration was rather amuzing, but Julius Caesar is incredibly hard to understand.
8 the book is difficult for me to understand, but it is easy when you explain and act out the scenes.
Julius Casear is so hard to understand and boring. But I would say an 8.
6. The whole toga act was funny and you explaining the play in depth helped me understand it better, but I mean its shakespeare were talking about here...
I would give it a 9 because the toga thing was really funny. also shakespeare is really hard to understand and you made it easier and translated the old english.
I would have to rate it a................................................... 8.239. It was hard to fallow the play and it was sort of creepy when you put the toga on, yet it was still prety funny untill you caled on me. Ha HA.
I'd have to rate it a 8 because you wearing the toga was pretty funny, but you always helped us understand Julius Caesar when you act it out.
6. I liked wearing a toga. Kayla really made me feel comfortable!!! It is cool when you act out what's going on as we read. The play is just too hard to understand. It doesn't keep my attention and it is the BORING thing I have ever read!
5 i do not understand Julius Caesar at all. i was able to pay attention in class but i did not grab the information.
7. I liked learning about the togas and about julius caesar but when it comes to reading the play it is hard for me to understand until you explain it more.
I would say a 9 or 10 because you made it really fun to watch the toga thing and you are rather entertaining and keep it interesting. I like how you stop and explain it to us. The play isn't all that hard to understand, I think it is good.
I would give it a 5. Just listening or reading Julius Caesar doesn't keep me entertained. I know the story is just starting and we haven't gotten to the details, it is a hard concept to grasp.
i would say about a 6. it was more entertaining than a normal class but it wasnt really exciting. But Julius Caesar was pretty easy to understand but now that we have statred looking deper into it i think its kinda har to understand
An 8. Because I liked the break down of the story.
I was pretty engaged with the story because i am just really into ancient history and stories about Rome because i am in Latin class and have been doing it for 4 years now. On a 1-10 scale i would say i was at about an 8 or 8.5.
8- i think the toga was funny but this play and every one of shakespears plays are hard for me to understand.
I would say a 7 because although I don't really understand Julius Caesar when I read it by myself, I understand it pretty well after you explain it. I like how you explain it piece by piece and if you didn't I probably wouldn't understand it at all.
7. the toga was kinda interesting and I actually kind of like the story of Julius Caesar although it is hard to understand.
A 7. The material is boring but some of the things we did during this week with the toga and reading aloud caught more interest for me
-Alex Abramovich
8. toga reminded me of animal house
I would say about a 4. Some of the activities we have done are fun, but Julius caesar itself is boring. Also I can,t understand half of the stuff that is going on.
7. The toga thing made class a little more interesting. The play isn't as bad as some other things by Shakespeare and is relatively easy to understand.
A 6. I thought it was funny how you had people try to put on a toga. The play is actually easier to understand than most of his other plays, but it's rather boring at this point. Maybe it will get better?
10. I was the one physically doing the toga so I was pretty involved.
This is Craig Leugers, and I would have to say about 8, because of the toga custome was entertaining since I participated. Also even though I had trouble following what exactly the play was saying, I enjoyed the recording of it, it gave the play a more dramatic feeling.
I would probably have to say somewhere in the 9-10 range. I've read a lot of Shakespear and other old english literature and I can follow what's going on well. I wasn't in love with the 1 line class activity, but I can deal with that.
I would say 9. I was able to understand Shakespeare fairly well which is a change. I was able to pay attention and learn about Julius Caesar.
3, which is high compared to every other class. I just sorta space out for about an hour. Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working.
I would say a 10 watching people in my class try to put on a toga was hilarious. I also am more into the play then i thought i would be. Most of my friends hate it but it is pretty interesting.
5 or so. The toga thing was pretty funny. Julius Caesar is OK I know a lot about it already but the whole Shakespeare thing. Well, lets just say its not my cup of tea.
I would say a 6. It is a confusing book and also a boring book. It does help though when you act out the scenes and when we talk about them.
I would say about a 7. I liked the toga part and also how you made comparisons that we could better understand. I like the tape so that we can follow along, but I think that overall it is difficult to understand.
10, I was very engaged in the lesson and I found it surprising that it is somewhat easy to read Julius Caesar. I thought that it would be very difficult to understand but I found it pretty easy to do it especially with a group.
I'd have to say about a 5. I understand about hlaf of what they are saying on the recording but when we go over it in class i seem to uderstand it a little bit more.
I would give the class a 4. I liked the whole toga thing but I can't ever see myself being engaged with the book itself. I have no interest in Shakespeare or Julius Caesar so I don't think I will get into anything to do with this book.
10. I paid attention just the same as I would have any other day. The toga bit was interesting though. I didn't know that you needed that much cloth for a toga.
I think that I would say a 7 or 8. You really make the reading more fun, and understandable. I think that the book is still confusing, but once we all talk about it, I feel like I know what is going on.
about a 6 I thought it was pretty funny and i payed attention but it was still hard to understand
I would give the lesson an 8 because it was funny to begin with and then when you made other people try the toga out it was even funnier. Once we started the play I was more awake than usual because of the toga extravaganza, but I soon became bored.
I really dont care for the book to be honsety with you. Its not something that i would pick up and read.
i agree with kareka, this book is not something i'd choose to read on my own time. i cant really grasp whats going on. but i guess i'd say a 4 if i had to choose
I would give it a 4. I payed attenton somewhat, but i find my self dazing off and thinking about other stuff since the book is very boring to me
I do not understand MacBeth and everything we are reading. I rate 1 I do not enjoy reading/learning anything we do. Everyone rate's things differently. So this is my say on this blog.
i would say an 8 i think its pretty easy to understand. sometimes it can get boring though.
i would give the lesson a 7 because it caught my attention and kept me entertained enough to listen.
6 it is second period and i just came from math class frankly i try to listen but it is hard and im good at failing.
A 6 out of 10 this book is dual.
