Final Blog

We are so close to the end. I'm so amazed as to how quickly this year has gone. There is so much more I'd like to share with you. There are poems, books, and songs that you need to be exposed to. There is still Bob Dylan songs that you need to hear.

All you need to do for your last blog is to answer two questions.

Question 1:
What was your favorite assignment and why?
Question 2:
What was your least favorite assignment and why?

Have a great summer and I will see you next year.

Mr. Lunn

My favorite assignments were the independent reading assignments because I loved the opportunity to be able to read a fun book that also counted for school. My least favorite assignment would be the papers because I am bad at them and they take so long, but I also understand that I must do them and that each paper I write teaches me something new. Thanks for everything this year!!

Not necessarily an assignment but my favorite thing that we did in class would have to be discussion because one, i don't like reading and two, i don't like writing. So pretty much nothing.

My favorite assignment would have had to be either the independent reading assignments or the Julius Caesar plays we made. They were my favorite because it was fun reading new books i could choose and the skits were just hilarious. Suprisingly i didn't have a least favorite. Thanks for the fun semester.

My favorite assignment was the Julius Caesar acting assignment. I never thought I would like it but I found out that I really do like acting. My least favorite assignment would be any of the papers because wrighting is my weakness. Thanks for being crazy and entertaining me this semester, as well as teaching me alot of new things.

My favortite assignment that we did this year is definately the Julius Caesar play. It let us have fun and still get a grade for it at the same time. My least favorite assignment were the journals and keeping an organized binder.

The independent reading assignments were my favorite assignments because we could read books that we thought were interesting. Acting out JC was fun as well. My least favorite assignments would definitely have to be the JC paper. NEVER AGAIN!

My favorite assignment was acting out the Julius Caesar play. That was so much fun and very entertaining. My least favorite assignment was writing the long papers because they took forever. Overall I liked English class this semester and you made class a lot of fun!

My favorite assignment would have to be the independent readings because its hard to read for school and pleasure so this assignment helped with that. My least favorite would have to be the papers. I'm so bad at writing them but I learned a lot about writing them this semester.

My favorite assignment was the group plays of the different Julius Caesar Acts. My least favorite assignment was the essays that we had to write.

My favorite assigment was, as you said, acting out the Julius Caesar. I don know, I thought I wouldn't like it, cause creating it seemed stupid until we came up with our own original way of intrepting Act 5. Watching everyone's act was hilarious- at least in my class.
My least favorite assigment were the independent reading. Its convient that we each got to pick our own books yet it was a pain in the butt because I'm not a big reader. We already do so much in school- nearly every class has homework and I work 25 hrs a week so, therefore, I do not have extra time to dedicate to our extra book reading. Oh and, peer editing is primarily useless. If you actually look at the papers that they edit, their editing does nothing. It is, in my opinion the least helpful becuase, in CP english at least, hardly anyone cares about their peer's paper and/or can edit them. I would just rather have to have someone else edit it that actually cares and will help me.
all in all - thanks for a good year.

My favorite assignment was the acting assignment for Julius Caesar because it was fun and entertaining to be a part of the story and play out a character. My least favorite assignment was writing all the papers because I don't like writing papers. They are boring.

My favorite was definatly the independent reading because I love to read. My least favorite is definatly papers simply because they suck!

This is Craig Leugers and my favorite assignment was the Caesar play. I loved how we got to create or own versions so we can use are creativity and imagination. My least favorite assignments were writing essays, like the Beowulf paper. It is really hard work to come up with topics and have them finished within the timeline, and it is hard to get a good grade on them.

My favorite assignment would have to the independent reading because we were able to read books that we liked. My least favorite assignment is definitely the Canterbury Tales, I couldn't stay focused.

My favorite thing we did this year was the independent reading because it gave me a chance to read at my own pace but still have a deadline. My least favorite assignment was writing the papers because after the first one we didnt get time in class to work on it or ask you questions.

Jenny Sweitzer said...

My least favorite was reading the Canterbury Tales because I could not stay focused and it was really confusing. My favorite was probably just the independent reading assignments because it gave us a ton of freedom of what we could do for it.

My favorite assignment was acting out Julius Caesar. It was very different from something I had ever done and it was cool to be able to have fun while getting a grade on it. My least favorite assignment was the canterbury tales. I didn't really understand any of that and it was so boring.

My favorite assignment would have to be the independent reading assignments. It was very easy and fun to read any book you wanted but it would still count for a grade. My least favorite was all the writing. But if I had to pick one writing I did not like at all , was Julius Caesar.

My favorite assignments were the independent reading because we get ot choose our own books to read and not have to type a 4 page paper on it. My other favorite project was the play. It was fun and entertainging. My least favorite project was the big papers we had to type. I could never get to 4 pages and i jsut didnt have fun with it.

My favorite assignment was the independent reading because we get to read books were interested in but it still counts as a grade. My least favorite was the papers because they take so much time and there is way to much thinking involved. Good luck with your babies :)

My favorite assignment was the book reviews. I like these because they were really easy points and I liked being able to read in class (When you gave us the time to do so) because I normally don’t have much time to read. My least favorite assignment was the peer editing. I know we need to work on our writing but when we did the peer edits in class it was pointless (no offense). I mean the kids in our class didn’t take it serious and they didn’t really help because no one really cared too much about it. I also didn’t like this because depending on who you sat next to you either got people who were good at editing or people who didn’t really care and therefore didn’t help much.

My favorite assignment was the independent reading and my least favorite assignment was the play.

My favorite assignments were all of the skits and acting we did in the class. I like being able to be creative with literature we read and not just sit their in class everyday and do the same thing over and over. My least favorite part was reading pretty much everything out of the text book. I hated picking up that book and I just didn't enjoy Beowulf and some of the poetry we read.

I really like doing the independent reading assignment because I like to read so it isn't much work for me. My least favorite assignment was the Julius Caesar paper just because we didn't get much time to write it and it was a very difficult paper.

There wasn't any particular assignment that I liked. I did like how most of our writing assignments gave us a choice about the topic we had to write about. I really did not like the reading assignments because they were very time consuming and I am not a big reader.

My favorite assignment was acting out the Julius Caesar plays. I like doing that because we could recreate and modernize it anyway we wanted to in order to make it fun. My least favorite assignment would have to be writting all the papers because, it takes alot of time and I am bad at them.

By far my favorite assignment was the Julius Caesar plays. I had alot of fun watching other peoples play as well as putting on our own. Which we did work on. My least favorite was reading the Canterbury Tales. It really sucked reading about all of them and then writing a paper on it.
Thanks Mr. Lunn for everything.

My least favorite assignments were the papers. I do not write well and it is hard for me to get my thoughts across in my writing. But my favorite assignment was the independent reading projects. The independent reading assignments were pretty simple and gave me a chance to read something i am interested in instead of having to read a manditory book that doesn't grab my attention.

My favorite assignments were the independent reading because they gave us a lot of freedom on the books we could read and made reading more enjoyable. When we constantly read books for school we don't like it makes us not like reading. My least favorite assignments were the papers because no matter how much time I put into them I always got a bad grade.
